In 2020, she supported Alexandra Morton's campaign. In 2022, she joined the Global Salmon Farm Resistance to raise awareness of the industry's global impact.

In 2016, he investigated the salmon farming crisis in Chiloé, revealing industrial dumping's link to a red tide catastrophe. His findings challenged the Academy of Sciences' report, sparking controversy. Since then, Julien continues researching the salmon industry's impact in Chilean Patagonia, collaborating with NGOs.
