Flotilla Against Fish Farms in Hobart
On March 11th, the Bob Brown Foundation and Sea Shepherd Australia organised a Flotilla in nipaluna/Hobart, calling for the removal of fish farms from Tasmania’s waters ahead of the state election on March 23rd, 2024.
The turnout was impressive, with hundreds of passionate individuals rallying on land and sea to support this cause. Dr. Bob Brown and Jeff Hanson, Managing Director of Sea Shepherd Australia, delivered impactful speeches, urging action and highlighting the urgent need for it.
The event, held alongside the Allankay, a Sea Shepherd global ship, received an overwhelming response from the public, indicating a growing opposition to industrial fish farms in Tasmania, Australia.
