The salmon farming industry in Scotland continues to expand, supported by the Scottish Government. However, in recent years expansion has slowed, partly due to increased resistance at the community level. WildFish would like to galvanise this increasing discontent with a series of ‘town hall’ events, educating attendees about the horrors of open-net salmon farming, and equipping them with legal and campaigning knowledge to take on the fight at the local level.

Participants will leave the events with the knowledge needed to take on the fight; WildFish will also benefit from increased connections and contacts at the local level.
