Australian retailer’s shareholders reject proposal to stop sourcing Tasmanian salmon

Shareholders of Coles will shortly face a similar resolution to that rejected by Woolworths shareholders at their annual general meeting.

Woolworths will continue to source farmed salmon from Tasmania for now after a challenge brought by environmental campaigners failed to win the support of shareholders during the Australian retail chain’s annual general meeting on Thursday.
